Our moderators and engagement specialists are the eyes and ears of our clients’ Communities and Social Media channels. They perform a vital role in protecting the brands we work for and the users of their Social spaces. They edit, remove and escalate user generated content which is deemed offensive, illegal or otherwise unacceptable in accordance with moderation guidelines. This can include working with comments, photos and videos.
You will also be required to engage with our client’s social media fan base on their behalf. Ad hoc information or content creation localisation and translation from English copy.
Working as part of a team there is an expectation for you, on occasion to be able to cover other shifts including evenings and weekends so flexibility is essential.
The hours for this home based position are:
Tuesday: 10:00 - 11:00
Wednesday: 10:00 - 11:00
Thursday: 10:00 - 11:00 (Maternity Cover, 29th August - 28th October 2016)
Friday 18:00 - 19:00 and 19:00 - 20:00 (Maternity Cover, 29th August - 28th October 2016)
Sunday 10:00 - 11:00 (Maternity Cover, 29th August - 28th October 2016)
We also need you to be available for cover shifts during the day and weekends when required.
All moderators must be fluent in Polish to a native standard and be based in the UK. Candidates must be available to attend a 3-day induction course in our London offices and further remote training, if necessary.
Key Responsibilities Include:
•Working with a team to ensure user-generated content adheres to Terms of Use and Community Guidelines; removing inappropriate content and managing problem users.
•Ad hoc escalation of urgent issues, customer service or technical questions and moderation policy queries.
•Following internal processes rigorously with a high level of diligence and attention to detail.
•Working alongside Community Managers to deliver a reliable and high quality service.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
•Excellent command of the Polish language; including text language, slang and colloquialisms.
•Excellent command of English.
•A passion for Social Media and knowledge of the latest trends and platforms.
•A good understanding of online user habits and idiosyncrasies.
•Excellent computer literacy and the ability to learn new applications quickly and effectively.
•Confident user of social networks and forum tools e.g. Twitter, Facebook & YouTube.
•Frequent and self-assured user of email, internet messaging and other online communication tools.
•Confident, self-motivated and versatile with a proactive and highly-organised approach to work.
•An ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, as well as flexibility and adaptability in order to support the team at all levels.
•An ability to work autonomously.
