Landrover series 3 lightweight
£3.500
Omschrijving
Here we have an excellent landrover series 3 lightweight. The vehicle was produced in 1972 and has the benifit of now being tax exempt. She was utilised in the RAF until the early 80's, when she was registered as a civilian vehicle.
She has a strong and disable petrol engine in which goes well, regularly crusing at 60. Like all old petrol engines she prefers to be in the lower gears when climbing hills.
She has a number of beneficial assesories which make her more desirable this includes freewheeling hubs which make her more economical, an additional electric fan to keep her temperature low (she has never overheated on me), interior lighting, 12v charger, duel fuel tanks, secondary heater, bench seats, front tow hitch. The chassis is in good condition and has been well maintained. Mot till Jan 17. She has had her whee arches widened to fit chunkier tires, if this style doesn't suit you, it would be easy enough to take her back to her standard size wheels and take off the arches.
Like all old landrovers she has her quirks, when reversing at high revs she can pop out of reverse however this is manageable, and the fuel gauge will only work on the drivers side fuel tank.
I will post more pictures when possible.
This is an opertunity to invest in a very desirable car, I am sure she will bring joy to her new owner.
