Description
Are you looking for an unusual sculptural piece for your garden ?
Using this dome kit, you can create your own custom version using whatever wooden materials you have available. I have used assorted hardwood branches and offcuts from tree clearance in the example shown, to give a 'natural' effect. Unlike other dome designs this does not rely on exact cutting of precise angles and is very forgiving on the amateur dome builder! anyone with basic DIY skills can put this together.
The dome pictured is 2350mm height ( 7 foot 8 inches ) and 4700mm diameter( 15 foot 4 inches ) but can be made to any required sizes by changing the lengths of the poles.
- i can advise on this.
The dome can be left as-is , or customised to your requirements, for example:-add netting to create chicken-run / aviary , polythene sheeting to create greenhouse, additional legs to increase height or to fix down to a foundation or base structure , adapt triangulation pattern to create doorway, etc etc .
Premium version ( as shown in photograph ):-
Aluminium hubs, Stainless steel fixings, custom EPDM universal spacers
£275
Economy version:-
UPVC hubs, Galvanised steel fixings, custom EPDM universal spacers

Kit includes 26 x hub connectors, 130x custom fixing sets, instructions - all the fixings and fittings you require to make 1 complete dome. Wooden struts are not included.

Wood ! - you will need to source 65x lengths of wood to the required size.

Basic DIY skills.
An assistant is recommended to help with erection of the upper sections.
Please note that this is NOT intended as a climbing frame or play structure! Children should be supervised at all times and of course children and pets should be kept out of the way during power tool use and whilst structure is being erected. Children can have fun though helping to work out how it goes together, assembling the sets of screws, gathering the wood, etc.
