Armstrong Siddeley
Omschrijving
The car has been restored to approximately 95%. The laminate to the windows secure and hold the historic cracks to the original glass, which I believe only adds character to the car in respect of its age and period.
It's hoped that this ad attracts a worthy owner, as it will be extremely difficult to part with the car.
The car is a 1930's Armstrong Siddeley. There has only been two previous owners, excluding myself. Both exterior and interior are in very good condition. Completely restored by on site Engineers, employed within the grounds of the previous owner's estate.
The car is elegant and beautiful and comes with documentation that is an absolute pleasure to read, detailing the history and illustrating the remarkable love and care that has been given to the car over the years. The interior is original and is in fantastic Art Deco, vintage condition. The leather seats offer a 'distressed' finished that a 'high end' designer would commission to achieve, equally the bakelite/leather/mahogany dash and steering wheel have aged perfectly to display a sought after patina, which I think would offer an amazing feature for photographic shoot or film purposes. The radiator cap is adorned by the original Siddeley's trademark chrome egyptian sphynx car mascot.
Enamel paint finish. The car runs very well on a 6 Cylinder engine, approximately 67,800 miles reached. Has the original sun roof in working condition.
The car is of course a historical vehicle and is therefore MOT and Tax exempt.
Only serious buyers please.
Note: the car is advertised elsewhere and therefore could be removed from this site at any time.
Thank you.
